How to Learn Better

The Brain Coach, Jim Kwik, says:

“In school, we’re taught lessons, but we’re not taught HOW to learn.”

So, we’ve incorporated learning prompts throughout this course and below are some key tips to keep in mind as you go through each lesson:

• Use good old pen and paper (or a notepad) to make your own notes for each lesson (instead of digital devices). This helps with retention.
• Ask empowering questions: How does each lesson apply to you?
• Reflect on what you learned
• Review what you’ve learned
• Learning chunks: the human brain can only focus on something between 10-40 minutes. Each lesson is split into small digestible chunks.
• Don’t try to binge watch a course like Netflix.
• Schedule your learning each day (just a little each day is fine)
